view from the window to the hills. we really enjoyed the fact that we chose auberge ostape.

Location.
Too fussy in some ways - who needs complimentary pyjamas and slippers? Biggest issue was that the restaurant was closed, and althougfh we were notified 2 days before we arrived there was no real alternative. The village restaurant was fine, but nearly 3 miles away, which ruled out a drink with the meal because of the need to drive (taxis in this location do not exist!).

The scenery. Calm. Decor.
As an elderly person I did not appreciate the expectation of my having to drive a golf bugggy to and from meals upand down slopes .in fact the hotel staff were very helpful indeed and always transported us but this seemed to be a favour. Another time I should want to know that my room was in the hotel itself.the haut cuisine was impressive but much too rich for my taste.

We spent a night of our honeymoon here and would have enjoyed staying longer. Golf buggies provided for use by guests are very fun! Pool has a beautiful view of the hills. Bedroom - or rather suite - was spacious, nicely designed, and had absolutely fantastic bathroom!
Staff could have been friendlier.

The hotel was wonderful in all aspects. The room (suite) was great, down to the linen sheets.
I did not like the arrangement whereby, because of the gates, the staff seemed to be keeping track of your movements

We loved the location, the views are wonderful and the comfort of the hotel. The staff are attentive, but discreet. It was a very special experience.

a very nice place in the mountains with excellent view. very enjoyable stay.
-
The scenery, the friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere and especially driving around the estate in electric golf buggies. The out door pool was beautifully warm....a shame the weather was not!
Room was a bit chilly...but it's that time of year when one day its roasting in the sun and the next chilly in the rain. Price of breakfast was a bit steep, but it was good with plenty of choice and no "extras"

We liked the comfortable spacious suite in the most idyllic, tranquil, rural position, good food and friendly staff. The use of a personal golf buggy to get to and from the main hotel building was an enjoyable bonus.
For a hotel of this standard, the fridge/minibar and kettle which didn't work on arrival should have been checked before but this was only a minor irritant. Breakfast at 22 euro per person was rather over the top but the expense was softened by the amazing view from the terrace.
